Summer Camp Fun
Camping! So much fun to be had ‘Down At The Campsite’ 🏕🔥.
This simple play tray is great for developing your munchkins fine motor-skills, language acquisition, social and emotional skills, learning about the world, early counting skills and most importantly of all, leads to lots of imaginative play!
Quite simple to set up! Munchkins love Jelly Play - Jelly is a great texture for your Munchkin to explore, different colours, flavours and scents all add to their sensory experience!
For our ‘Summer Camp Fun’ playtime we used;
Small toy people (inedible)
Happy land toys (inedible)
A blue plastic sheet or tray
Towels and blankets for the tents ⛺️⛺️
To make some of the Campsite edible, we used;
Cocoa Powder for the soil/mud
Red Jelly for the Campfire. Make up a small amount of jelly and let it cool.
Put some jelly on a tray or messy mat and let your Munchkin make their own discoveries about what they can do with it. Shape the jelly into a a campfire shape! 🔥
Bread sticks (or suitable safe alternative of your choice, that is baby friendly and suitable for your smallest Munchkin)
To add to the fun, we paired the finished Campsite up with a camp-side story 📚
