A full morning of paediatric First Aid training from a fully qualified and experienced trainer. Combined with Munchkin and me’s sensory story-play for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, our Story-Explorers and Mini Munchkins
This is a special session for parents and carers accompanied by babies/toddlers/preschoolers to learn about Paediatric First Aid including: ER febrile convulsions, choking and burns.
The session will involve story based play activities for your munchkins led by Rachel and the First Aid course will be run by Gail Spencer from GMP Training Services:
Learn basic First Aid for your baby/toddler and gain skills and confidence
Learn how to administer CPR on babies and children
2 adults per family and your child/children under 5 years
You will get a certificate of attendance and a paediatric first aid booklet.
Introducing Gail: Gail is the owner of GMP Training Services who offer training and assessing for the health and social care sector. Gail is a Registered Nurse-Learning Disability. Since qualifying in 1994, Gail has worked within a variety of roles within day services, residential homes and domiciliary care services.
Gail is an experienced Training Manager, able to deliver training on up to 30 different subjects and has a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences which she loves to pass onto people of different ages and from different sectors.
Price: £27.50 (incl. 2 adults and 1 child)
Ticket cost is for two adults plus child or children (children refers to children from the same household).
Tickets are for two adults accompanied by a child who is toddling/walking (or children from the same household) up to 5-years. This ticket can also be for a single adult not accompanied by a child.
We do require two adults if you are bringing a child as some parts of the session will be unsuitable for children, so we will move the childrens activities to another room and the adults will take it in turns to swap over.
There will be a half an hour break during the session and there is a cafe on site (accepting cash and card payments) for you to get refreshments.
