Autumn 2021: Connecting with Communities: Munchkins Giving Back
In 2021, Rachel, the founder of Munchkin and me, ran the Yorkshire marathon in support of a charity which touched her heart; The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund (EBMF). The charity was set up in memory of Eilidh Brown who passed away from cancer in March 2010, aged just 15 years. Helping others was Eilidh’s dream and her incredible legacy.
The purpose behind the EBMF charity is to build and maintain a respite holiday home, which is located in the Stirling area of Scotland for young people from across the country; and their families, who are in treatment for or recovering from cancer.
This family run charity provides a respite cabin where, not only the families can relax and spend quality time together, but they can make memories that will last a lifetime.
In addition to running the Yorkshire Marathon, and to help raise funds for the charity, Rachel ran a special joint event together with Little City Norfolk including a raffle, which was widely supported by the Munchkin and Me group. Your generosity helped massively to boost Rachel’s fundraising total to £6,000 for the Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund.
The Eilidh Brown Memorial Fund is a registered Scottish charity (SC042082).

Autumn 2022: Connecting with Communities: Supporting Local Families
In October 2022 Munchkin and me held a pre-loved sale in support of 4Louis, a charity which supports families through still-birth, miscarriage and child loss. We wanted to raise awareness and money for this vital service, which supported one of our families.
The pre-loved sale, of baby and toddler clothes; toys and accessories, brought together the wider community and gave families the opportunity to sell on pre-loved items to benefit other families.
